Pomorskie Smart Specialisation no. 3

Based on the agreement signed between the Pomeranian Voivodeship and the Regional Pomeranian Chamber of Commerce, RIGP became the Leader of Smart Specialisation no. 3 in the scope of Eco-effective technologies in the generation, transmission, distribution and consumption of energy and fuels and in construction.

 

The third Intelligent Specialisation of Pomerania aims to build and strengthen the competitiveness of associations and companies that focus on creating new products and services based on the results of research,  development and implementation works.

 

About the project

 

Pomorskie Smart Specialisations are based on industries, research and development areas with great potential for development in the region. Smart Specialisations were  initiated by the European Commission, which in 2020 adopted the “Europe 2020” strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.

A significant proportion of European Union funds have been designated towards the development of the region’s smart specialisations between 2014-2020 financial perspective.

 

In the Pomorskie Voivodeship, four Pomeranian Intelligent Specialisations (ISP) have been selected:

ISP 1 — Offshore port and logistics technologies;

ISP 2 — Interactive technologies in an informal environment;

ISP 3 — Eco-efficient technologies in production, transmission, distribution and consumption of energy and fuels and in construction;

ISP 4 — Medical technologies in the area of civilisation and aging-associated diseases.

 

Based on the agreement signed between the Pomeranian Voivodeship and the Regional Pomeranian Chamber of Commerce, our Chamber became the Leader of Pomorskie Smart Specialisation no. 3 in the field of Eco-efficient technologies in production, transmission, distribution and consumption of energy and fuels and in construction.

 

The aim of the third Smart Specialisation is to build and strengthen the competitiveness of associations and companies that focus on creating new products and services based on the results of research,  development and implementation works.
