Regional Pomeranian Chamber of Commerce

The Regional Pomeranian Chamber of Commerce was established to combine the business opportunities of the region with the needs of the market. We are a partner in building strong enterprises, active self-government and science cooperation with business.

 

Our experiences allowed us to create an ecosystem for business. A friendly environment for the economy based on knowledge and modern technologies.

 

We are the most active and dynamically developing organization in the region. We integrate companies having similar approaches, missions and beliefs. Together we take care of the local community and business efficiency.

Our mission

is Pomorskie. It is a perfect place, both for living and making business. As the Regional Chamber of Commerce, we support the local economy, focusing on integration, exchange of ideas and education.

 

We consistently co-create the development strategy of the region with local governments, building a platform of mutual actions and experiences integrating businesses, local governments and communities.

 

We take good care of international relations and we engage in global projects, based on proven experience and knowledge of our experts. Together we do our best to respond to the market needs. We look- into the future with vision.

Damian Mucha, MBA

President of the Management Board, General Director

A graduate of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Gdańsk and Postgraduate Studies in Law and Management and Postgraduate Studies in Public Relations at the Faculty of Management of the Gdańsk University of Technology. Founder of the Pomeranian Business Incubator Foundation. Experienced manager - performing several tasks in the area of business cooperation, territorial self-government units and NGOs. He has a wide, updated knowledge in the area of management and organisational functioning, resulting from advising companies and institutions in the area of EU funds, obtaining grants for educational and training purposes, associating business partners and analysing the organisation's development opportunities.

Przemysław Sola

Vice-President of the Management Board

Economist, a graduate of the Faculty of Management at the University of Gdańsk and the Academy of Banking. He has 9 years of management experience gained both in local and nationwide organisations. He co-founded and managed a network of academic business incubators in Pomerania, where he supported the implementation of almost 1000 business projects from the academic community. He ran the Tri-City Accelerator for Business Link start-ups. He was actively involved in numerous initiatives supporting the development of the so-called start-up ecosystem. Currently, he runs the Aligo Venture Capital investment fund.

Sławomir Halbryt

President of the Council

M.Sc. in Technical Sciences. Graduate of the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics, Gdansk University of Technology.

 

President of the Council of the Pomeranian Regional Chamber of Commerce, founder and president of Sescom S.A. - provider of facility management services for retail chains in Europe. Chairman of the University Council of the Gdansk University of Technology.

Adam Protasiuk

Vice-President of the Council

A graduate of the University of Gdańsk with a degree in Economics. Co-founder of the Pomeranian Regional Chamber of Commerce. President of the Management Board and Member of Supervisory Boards of many companies on the regional market: SESCOM S.A., GPK sp. z o.o., NAGPROT Sp. z o.o., LUPIN ENERGY PL Sp. z o.o., BP-ENERGY Sp. z o.o. Partner in European Advisory Holding Sp. z o.o. A member of the Supervisory Board of the Foundation for the Support of Culture and Education and the President of the Polish Arms Tradition Foundation. An expert in the field of economy, willing to share his experience and knowledge in the field of economic and legal advice.

Ireneusz Pawlowski

Vice-President of the Council

Legal adviser and mediator, experienced business lawyer, specialised in commercial and corporate law. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk. Currently, in the course of preparations for the opening of his doctoral dissertation. He completed, among others, postgraduate studies "Practical Aspects of the European Integration" at the Polish Academy of Sciences and has undergone many training courses, including: "Strategic planning' at Harvard School of Public Health. Founder and President of the Pomeranian Arbitration and Mediation Centre. A jury member of Business Chooses Mediations. Founder, Managing Partner and Legal Counselor in Pawłowski Skromak Law Office.

Katarzyna Strzała-Osuch

Member of the Council

Dr. Katarzyna Strzała-Osuch, Prof. PSW, Master of Environmental Protection (University of Gdansk), Doctor of Economic Sciences (Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun).

 

By profession an academic teacher/high level manager with experience, supported by success, in university management, applying for external funds and managing projects (IMPA Certificate, Type D), including Erasmus+ projects, as well as managing public and non-public institutions.

 

Currently employed at The Powiśle University of Applied Sciences as Rector (term 2023-2027), formerly as Vice Rector for Development and Cooperation (2015-2023). She is the author of numerous documents, analyses and publications in the field of economics and rationality of investment financing, but most importantly higher education, including the organization, implementation and development of medical and health sciences education.

 

She has expert experience in the field of entrepreneurial analysis, rationality of financing, economic and social analysis, higher education, including quality and improvement of university management, including its sustainable development. She was and is a member and expert of social councils, working groups and competition commissions, among others: Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy, Office of the Marshal of Pomorskie Voivodeship and others.

 

Born in Kwidzyn, she lives permanently in Gdansk, mother of two daughters - Julia and Paulina.

Robert Maciej Kita

Member of the Council

Director, Member of the Management Board of EUROPLASTIC POLSKA Sp z.o.o., which operates on the plastics market. It was established in 2005 as a result of many years of cooperation with people involved in the sale of plastics and production of finished products. Taking care of the natural environment and being aware of the need to recycle waste, regranulate is produced. The production is based in 100% on secondary raw materials. The main products produced are pots used in nursery and gardening. The company is developing, and new, innovative models of flowerpots, which meet the requirements of the customers, are being shown.

ICT expert with over 17 years of experience. Currently Head of Data at House Electrum Induce, where he develops and implements data management strategies for the VPP project. Previously, as CTO at F44 Sp. z o.o., he led R&D projects in the area of innovative data formats.

 

He also has experience as a Software Engineer at GeoAtomed Sp. z o.o., where he was responsible for the architecture of the web platform. His career also includes leadership roles at SDC Sp. z o.o. and SESCOM S.A., where he was responsible for software development, IT project management and building a pioneering incident management system for a distributed network of retail type facilities and a system to support energy efficiency of facilities.

Dawid Nidzworski

Member of the Council

Scientist and entrepreneur, Master of Science in Engineering of the Chemical Department, Gdańsk University of Technology; Master of Science and Doctor of the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology UG & MUG., director of Institute of Biotechnology and Molecular (IBMM), co-founder of SensDx and GeneMe.

 

Laureate and manager of nearly 20 research and development projects focused on commercialization: VENTURES FNP, IMPULS FNP, LIDER, Szybka Ścieżka, POIR, TechMatStrateg NCBR oraz SME Instruments. Creator of a universal diagnostic platform for detecting pathogens and others biomarkers.

 

Co-owner of several companies in the fields of consulting, cosmetics, diagnostics, nanotechnology, and biotechnology, among others: GeneMe Sp. z o.o., Vector Technology Transfer Fund Sp. z o.o., EventPlug Sp. z o.o., and SensDx S.A.

Director of the Vocational Training Centre "Nauka".

Pedagogue, Germanist, director of primary and secondary schools. Since 2001, director and owner of the "Nauka" Vocational Training Centre in Tczew. CKZ "Nauka" is a small private enterprise, comprising several schools operating as public institutions. In total, these schools educate around 1,000 pupils and listeners per year. The "Nauka" CEC also operates a lifelong learning programme, providing pedagogical, psychological and professional advice.
