For local governmental organizations

In the Chamber, we believe that close cooperation between economic and local government is the key to business development — that is why we strongly focus on cooperation with municipalities, other local units. We cooperate with mayors and city presidents to mediate towards mutual agreement between  entrepreneurs and government.

We support local communities by:

Entrepreneur-friendly commune

This unique initiative is an original idea of experts from our Chamber of Commerce. The Entrepreneur-friendly Municipality is a plebiscite addressed to local governments, under which the Chamber selects the most attractive municipalities for running a business by voluntarily submitting evaluations in these field. Our experts thoroughly analyze dozens of factors that affect the “friendliness” towards entrepreneurs, including the presence of business environment organizations, activities dedicated to entrepreneurs or ease of contact with the municipality.

The result of the competition is a comprehensive report on business support throughout the Pomeranian region. From 2018 the Entrepreneur-friendly Municipality was included in the plebiscite of Economic Griffin organized by the Pomeranian Entrepreneurship Council at Marshal Office of the Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Municipal development strategy

Development is fostered by planning, which is why we advise and develop a dedicated development plan for municipalities for the coming years. The Chamber’s experts comprehensively analyze the situation and potential of the territorial unit and develop an advanced development plan. A whole range of aspects are taken into account: from environmental, geographical, economic and social conditions. The document thus developed, supports and directs activities for the future, ultimately improving the quality of life and running a business in our region. We think globally working locally.
