The company’s greatest asset are its employees. In the Chamber we focus on the development of employees and the labor market, believing that this translates directly into the competitiveness and economic attractiveness of the region. If you are an unemployed person looking for a job, want to increase your competence or if you are a student and want to start a career — the Chamber is a right place to start.
You will receive from us:
Training of soft and hard competences
Raising your qualifications is one of the best ways to increase your chances on the labor market. We organize trainings for employees and unemployed people, increasing competences both soft, interpersonal and hard skills. When organizing trainings, we are guided by the highest standards and we make sure that this gained knowledge always translates into the facilitation of finding a right job for a candidate.
Preparation of an individual action plan
Unemployed people who can always apply to us receive an important tool, an individual action plan. After a series of meetings with the experts a summary of strengths, weaknesses and predispositions to selected profession are being prepared. Thanks to this, specific information is obtained, regarding areas for improvements and the most suitable employment place for a candidate in order to be a successful employee.
Organization of internships and apprenticeships
Experience is the best teacher. That is why we are intensively developing our internship and apprenticeship programs for job seekers and students. Thanks to the knowledge about the local market and enterprises, we organize up to several hundred annual internships. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the new industry and a successful start on the labor market. Until 2018 we have organized internship for over 500 unemployed people and 539 internships and apprenticeships for vocational school students and technicians.
Shaping the local labor market
Our experts sit in advisory and decision-making bodies in the area of labor market — determining the shortage professions, so-called “Future occupations” and school education trends. We talk with entrepreneurs associated in the Chamber and we know what kind employees are needed in the Pomeranian Voivodship and will be needed in near future.
